What Personal Information Does Company Collect?
The information we gather from customers enables us to personalize and improve our services to you. We collect the following types of information from our customers:
Information About You Received from an SNO: When you use the Company Application at a third party SNO such as Facebook or Google+, you allow us to access certain information from your profile for that site. The information you allow us to access varies by SNO, and it is affected by the privacy settings you establish at the SNO. If you register for our Service as the seller, we may request permission to access your basic information as defined by the SNO, as well as permissions to manage your page. If you register for our Service as a user, we may request permission to access your basic identification information along with other data such as pages you have liked, activities, interests, subscriptions, group associations, etc. Your activities and interactions while using our Application (“User Activities”) may be recorded as well.
Information About You Collected Automatically: When you interact with the Service (whether or not on an SNO), at www.splurgy.com, or any Company-owned website, we may automatically collect and store certain information. For example, when you visit our website, our system automatically collects information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser language, domain names, referring and exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of these page views, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time of your request and the unique identity of your browser. This information is used to analyze trends, administer our Service, improve the design of our Service, track user movement, and otherwise enhance the services we provide. In addition, our Service collects and stores information that is generated automatically as you use our Service. This information is collected site-wide, and includes anonymous website statistics. To collect this information, we may use standard log files, “clear gifs,” also known as web beacons, and cookies. For example, our Service may employ browser cookies to store users’ preferences and record session information. “Cookies” are bits of information that are stored by your browser on your hard drive. This technology allows for the storage of user preferences, user ID and password, if applicable, and remembers you when you take action on our Service. You can turn off the “cookie” function through most standard browsers; however, the majority of the features on our Service may not function properly, including but not limited to, the login function, if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.
Information via Customer Support Correspondence: When you ask for assistance from our customer support team, we will collect and store the contact information you provide, information about your User Activities, and your user ID number. We will also store the correspondence and any information contained within.
Third Party Payment Processor
We use a third party payment processor (“Payment Processor”) such as PayPal and Amazon Payments to collect and process payments. In order to complete a transaction using our Service, you must use our Payment Processor to finalize the order. Its privacy statement and acceptable use policy will also apply to your information. We encourage you to read them before providing your information.
